Standard Computer International Pvt. Ltd. provides genuine laptops, accessories, and electronic devices sourced from authorized brands such as Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo, MSI, ASUS, Apple, and more.

All products come with official manufacturer warranty, which varies depending on the brand and product category. The warranty primarily covers manufacturing defects and hardware issues under normal usage conditions.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

Hardware Defects

  • Manufacturing defects in internal components
  • Faulty workmanship under normal usage

Repair & Replacement

  • Free repair or replacement of defective parts
  • Replacement parts may be new or refurbished (as per brand policy)

What Voids the Warranty?

Warranty will be void if any of the following conditions are found:

Physical & External Damage

  • Drops, cracks, pressure damage, or liquid spills
  • Burn marks or damage due to electrical surges

Unauthorized Actions

  • Repairs or upgrades performed by unauthorized technicians
  • Tampering with serial number, warranty seal, or internal components

Missing Documents

  • Invoice, warranty card, or original serial number not available

Software & Misuse

  • Virus attacks or malware issues
  • Improper BIOS updates or OS corruption
  • Use of the device outside recommended conditions

Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Cracked or damaged screens
  • Outer body damage or cosmetic defects
  • Accessories (chargers, cables, bags, etc.) unless specified
  • Battery performance degradation over time
  • Data loss, software, or installed programs
  • Minor screen issues (e.g., limited dead pixels within manufacturer tolerance)

Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy

5-Day Replacement Guarantee

  • Products with manufacturing defects within 5 days of purchase are eligible for replacement or refund

Conditions for DOA Claims

  • Product must be returned with original packaging
  • All accessories, invoice, and warranty card must be included
  • Product will go through inspection before approval

Refund & Replacement Process

  • Approved refunds are processed within 3 working days
  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method
  • No shipping or handling fees will be deducted
  • Missing items or accessories may result in deductions

After the 5-day DOA period, only standard manufacturer warranty will apply.

Repair Timeline

  • Minor issues: As per service center turnaround time
  • Major repairs: Typically 3 to 5 weeks, depending on parts availability and brand policies

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure smooth warranty claims, customers must:

  • Keep the original invoice and warranty card safe
  • Use proper packaging when sending products for repair
  • Back up important data before submitting devices

Standard Computer International Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for data loss during repair or servicing.

Important Terms

  • Warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser
  • Warranty does not apply to “change of mind” purchases
  • If the warranty is expired or void, all repair costs will be borne by the customer
